Vigora

Vigora (sildenafil Citrate) is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that works to relax muscles in certain body parts and increase the flow of blood to the penis during sexual stimulation. It helps you get and maintain firm erections.

Vigora should be taken according to your doctor's instructions and the prescription label. Consult the patient leaflet to get more information on the dosage.

Vigora is administered orally, during meals or otherwise, one to four hours before sexual activity. Avoid combining the medication with high-fat foods and talk to your doctor to decide on the best way to take it.

If you experience any symptoms associated with allergies such as difficulty breathing, hives, swollen tongue etc., stop using the medication and seek urgent medical help.

Common side effects of taking Vigora include diarrhea, dizziness, hot flushes, heartburn, headaches, stuffy nose or digestion problems. Consult your doctor if any of them persist or become bothersome.

Contact a medical specialist immediately if you experience any of the following: chest pain, loss of consciousness, irregular or increased heartbeat, memory problems, numbness of limbs, painful or prolonged erection, weakness of one side of the body, ringing in the ears, seizures, major dizziness, major or continuous vision changes, loss of hearing.

Note that this list does not include all possible side effects. Other side effects might occur depending on individual health conditions.

Tell your doctor if you have any of the following conditions: allergic to foods or medications; a deformed penis; blood vessel or blood cell disorders (leukemia, multiple myeloma, sickle cell anemia); a history of prolonged or painful erections; a history of vision problems (macular degeneration, optic neuropathy, retinitis pigmentosa, rapid vision loss in one or both eyes, etc.); hearing problems (ringing in the ears, hearing loss, etc.); a history of liver, kidney or lung disorders (pulmonary veno-occlusive disease); high or low blood pressure; a history of heart disorders (angina, aortic stenosis, heart failure, irregular heartbeat, etc.).

Do not use the medication if you are allergic to any ingredient in sildenafil or advised against sexual activity due to heart problems.

DO NOT combine Vigora with the following medications: nitrates (isosorbide, nitroglycerin, etc.) in any form, nitroprusside, recreational drugs (amyl nitrate or nitrite, butyl nitrate or nitrite, etc.), PDE5 inhibitors (tadalafil, vardenafil, etc.) or other sildenafil based ingredients.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember if you are still planning an intercourse. Continue taking as advised by your doctor.

Vigora can be stored at temperatures between 59°F and 86°F (15°C and 30°C) away from light and moisture, out of reach of children and pets. Do not store the medication in the bathroom. The required temperature for permanent storage is 77 °F (25°C).
