- How to take
Bimatoprost should be taken in strict compliance with your doctor's instructions and directions on the prescription label. Do not change dosage or the prescribed period of use without prior medical consult.
Wash your hands before using the medication and check whether the liquid has not changed its color or revealed any other signs of deterioration.
To use Bimatoprost:
Tilt your head back and pull your lower eyelid to create a pocket.
Tip the dropper down, look up and away from its tip.
Use the prescribed number of drops then close your eye.
Press your finger to the inside corner of your eye to prevent the liquid from draining.
Wait for at least five minutes before using any other eye medication.
