This generic medication is taken only as needed and around 60 minutes prior to sexual activity.
Do not take Generic Staxyn more than once a day and no more than once every 24 hours.
Stop using Generic Staxyn and seek emergency assistance if you have sudden vision loss or have any of the following signs of an allergic reaction: hives or unusual rash; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, tongue, lips or throat.
During sexual activity, if you feel at all dizzy, nauseated or experience pain, numbness or tingling in your arms, chest, jaw or neck, stop immediately and call your doctor. You could be experiencing a serious side effect of Generic Staxyn. Stop using Generic Staxyn and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects: ringing in the ears or sudden hearing loss; vision changes or loss; chest pain or heavy feeling in the chest, especially if the pain spreads to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling; irregular heartbeat; swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet; feeling light-headed; shortness of breath; fainting; or seizure (convulsions) or penis erection that is painful or lasts more than 4 hours. Less serious Generic Staxyn side effects may include: warmth or redness in your face, neck, or chest; runny or stuffy nose; dizziness; headache; back pain or upset stomach. Drinking alcohol can heighten certain side effects of Generic Staxyn.
Grapefruits and grapefruit juice may negatively interact with Generic Staxyn and could lead to potentially harmful reactions. Discuss the consumption of grapefruit with your doctor.
Do not take any other drug simultaneously to treat erectile dysfunction, such as Alprostadil (Edex, Caverject, Muse) or Yohimbine (Yodoxin, Yocon), unless advised otherwise by your doctor.
Do not take Generic Staxyn with similar medications such as tadalafil (Cialis) or sildenafil (Viagra).
Prior to taking Generic Staxyn, speak to your doctor about all other medications you use currently are using for impotence or any of the following medications:
